Senior Product Manager
As Commerx’ Senior Product Manager, Karel is an integral part of the Technology group and supports the creation and strategy for Commerx Services. Karel makes sure Commerx provides the right products and services to enable our client’s businesses.
Karel is known for his accuracy of info and timely delivery. The culture at Commerx and Commerx’ ability to influence change to benefit customer’s businesses inspires Karel. He believes that technology today is limitless and constant growth is empowered by Cloud. Dealing with leading-edge technology and developing tools and processes to solve the business problems of our customers is in the heart of what Karel and the tech team do at Commerx every day.
Karel brings decades of experience from Bell Canada, mainly in customer system engineering where he was part of significant projects such as Pearson Airport T3 and outsourcing contracts totaling more than $400M over 15 years. Karel works with the Commerx technology and sales teams to help increas the customer’s revenue streams by optimizing their environment, designing processes to deliver productivity, to reduce costs and to improve their profit margins.
Karel believes that businesses as a whole will be transformed with technology and in fact, it’s no longer a slow change! And he is excited how they influence this rapid change at Commerx by transforming their customers business models using Cloud.
Outside of work, Karel spends time at his cottage with his family, wood working or playing golf. He loves watching and attending all major sports.
